As example when Noth joined the show as the second detective--early prevues...

Your thoughts are heading in the right direction I guess.In this pic with JG (though I like him actually as an actor)none of the other actors seems to be important anymore at all.All are standing in the back in this perspective.
He should be carefully aware of his image being glorified like that!

I really coulnt agree more with you, the whole thing has turned me off the new character. Noth was at least already part of the L&O team, so his fitting in went smooth i thought.
Except for a little upset at the thought of not having all Bobby episodes.He didnt once step into the front row, i miss him actually, he grew on me lol.
I read a few comments around, that its no different to bring in somebody new to the role. I think it is, look at all the mess up with the character for starters.
Logan just walked in from Staten Island, and it all fell into place. So i dont understand these people saying its no different to the Logan character.
For starters Goldblums character has set the season back and back.
Secondly what is all the damn carry on about Vincent`s weight all the damn time??? If these people were REAL fan`s, they wouldnt keep it up.
Also the fact that his weight and appearance is why the ratings are down LMAO! Also that the network will bring it to his attention. I wonder who these people think they are with their "I AM" talk and attitude!
Here this, Bobby Goren IS LOCI, NOBODY will ever replace him, skinny or what, the man is all man.

I had no feeling about Goldblum coming on board whatsoever; he's there for the same reason Noth was - to keep VINCENT on the show! However, thanks to USA, I'm already heartily sick of poor Jeff before the season even starts.
If anyone is suggesting the ratings were 'down' for LOCI last season, I'd suggest they get their bigoted heads out of their ass and check their facts. 'Frame' got record ratings for USA - and no true Vincent-lover should give a shit how much weight he's carrying. It doesn't change who he is!!!
I'm getting very tired of Jeff Goldblum, but I'll hold off with a judgement until I see one of his episodes. I do think it will be fun to see his character with Eric Bogosains...

CSI got Laurence Fishburne, we get bloody Goldblum.

First I would like to say I love the BTSOH but if Bobby was one of my sons wearing the some shirt/tshirt over and over I think I would be getting a little concerned. lol.

I agree, Goldblum may be a good actor (though I couldn't care less) but, he doesn't hold a candle to Mr. D. Know HE'S and ACTOR and Vincent and Kate ARE THE SHOW.
