Vanishing Act, Some of my Favorite Things

So I took another of my days off to do laundry and scripted all of Vanishing Act. Oh how I do love this episode. I have to write it out first from Amazon then I run through the DVR to catch the lines that Amazon's version has deleted. And during this all I noticed some things that made me happy so I capped them especially for this post.

First I noticed that either Bobby is very tired or he is sitting to let Alex tower over him in a position of power. Never seen him sit so much...







AND then he straddles and dismounts...





AND he smiles & smiles & bares his teeth...


He's so happy but my cap catcher is not fast enough to catch clearer picture, he's moving so fast.








Bobby stirred up from Dean denouncing profilers...


And so I have Forgiven Alex for her tirade against Bobby because...

Dean wounds him...

and she comforts him with a look...


She brings him coffee...


Dean tries to inflict another wound...

She retaliates defending him...



I'm only subjecting you to three back & shoulder shots...

AND one final note...I've noticed Det. Agnes Farley giving our Bobby a lot of unprofessional looks since Siren Call. Though he appears to ignore her unlike that little gun expert CSU from Albatross.

Vanishing Act-first thoughts

Well I have decided to forgive Alex after this episode. Bobby was like a kid with all this magic, and she played right up to him, she even brought him coffee.

Of course, when the bad guy hit a bit close to home and Bobby took another wound, Alex stepped right up for him. Yes I have forgiven her. And he was so very adorable. Now I just have to wait for morning and Amazon to post it, so I can start scripting and capping it.

Yes, am back in total love with Bobby again. Russell who?

I have been scripting and capping Siren Call and ran across a cap that leaves me breathless, and it isn't even a back or shoulder shot.

SO before I head out to patch up the gun and knife club and wade through the blood and guts at the trauma unit first I'll gaze upon the MAN with eyelashes, curls at his nape, heavy lidded, hot cocoa eyes and a mouth you just want to bite.

Damn it after viewing it, surprise surprise photo 'pain in the butt' bucket chopped off his curls. So here is a nice plain cap without the love marks--see curls. A a bit of Shoulders too.

After visiting MUSIC WENCH's site I wanted to respond to her thoughts and since she doesn't allow comments, and I understand why...I am going to comment here in hopes she may run across this.

I agree with almost everything you said and thought you said it quite eloquently with or without an outline. I loved the fact they gave them a case and let them solve it without personal angst for Bobby or the partners. I too disliked UNTETHERED but I loved Purgatory. Though Eames pissed me off...I believe she made a comment about Bobby not protecting her, but as in SIREN CALL he worked it so she was safely out of harms way.

Everything else you wrote was right on target, and anyone who hasn't visited MUSIC WENCH take yourself there right away. Her comments are intelligent and well written.

I am a fan.

If only Bobby Goren existed in real life and looked at me like this...

I can create a whole fantasy life around those looks. And I am happily married for thirty years to a blue-eyed curly-haired giant teddy bear already. Nothing wrong with having two giant greying teddy bears.

BOBBY GLOVED

Many moons ago I discovered a cap of Bobby in blue nitro gloves instead of latex and remember wondering at the time if our beloved detective had developed a latex allergy...but the white latex returned. I saved it, but then accidentally deleted it. Now it is driving me crazy...so if anyone remembers the episode please drop me a line. I have searched the always reliable sites of Velocity of Vincent and Strangevisitor to no avail.

Meanwhile since I was looking I capped his beautiful hands covered in latex stretched tautly over those large hands and long fingers (& let me tell you from personal experience its not the shoe size ladies its the length of those fingers.) Thanks to the two sites I borrowed from, I eventually will get my own done and stop borrowing.

NOTE: for anyone who may wonder the blue and sometimes purple gloves are latex free...and very expensive so that's why we're still stuck using latex in the hospital, except for those who have allergic reactions to latex and when administering chemo.
