TRAVELING ITALY

Well I finally figured out a way to send my blogging through to my husband and hopefully it will be posted okay on blogger.

We flew into Rome after a stopover in Amsterdam, no I did not partake of the legal drugs or legal prostitution. My sister rented a car in Rome and we drove up to Tuscany. The landscape reminds me of Tennessee, only sheep and pigs instead of cows and horses and strange trees. And of course the occasional crumbling fortress in the distance. And no roadside animals like rabbits or deer.

We spent two days in Florence, Here's a couple of pictures not shown when I visited before. Would like to have shot DAVID but they are relentless on watching to be sure no pictures are taken inside.

Then we went to Assisi. Don't know if I could live there. Everything is at a 45 degree angle. Walking the streets are a killer. We started at St. Assisi the climbed up to the Temple of Minerva built during the time of Christ, now a Christian Church half way through town. Everything is covered in gold inside. And on each side of the altar remain the drains for the blood of human sacrifices 2000 years ago.

Assisi is a monastery with only men residing, so looking down from the city is a Cathedral or not being Catholic maybe called a nunnery, where there are only women.


And just a shot of the grade of the road in this city up up up or down down down.


Now, we are traveling to Rome, but have stopped at a nice rustic inn for the afternoon and night. With the aid of my sister's little AT&T plugin for satellite connection I'll try to blog and write a bit, hopefully. Thinking of you all, some a lot closer--just a country or two away and a Channel instead of an ocean.

Will try to drop another blog after we leave Rome for Capri.

SINCE I'M LEAVING FOR ITALY IN THE MORNING AND I HAVE FINISHED SCENE ONE I THOUGHT I'D DROP IT HERE FOR ANYONE INTERESTED. WILL MOVE IT TO LIVE JOURNAL WHEN I GET BACK. I MISSED A LOT WHEN I WATCHED IT. THE WAY BOBBY WORKS THE ROOM AND THE PEOPLE IN IT. HIS MIND JUMPING FROM ONE IDEA TO THE NEXT WITH NO CONNECTION. TELLING TECHS TO DO SOMETHING THEY DO ANYWAY JUST BECAUSE HE'S THINKING OUT LOUD. WOULDN'T MIND BEING DET. FARLEY WITH ALL THE GRABBING AND PULLING AND PUSHING HE DID DURING THE SCENE TO HER. HANDS ON. NICE BACK SHOTS AND FEET.

NOTE: While I have seen SVU, the CSI series, NCIS, and other Television shows scripted & capped, I've only seen one or the other done for LO:CI, so I thought I would try it. I do not script everything. If it didn't pertain to Bobby, Alex, Ross or Rodgers directly or indirectly it was omitted. There are other sites like NocostScripts.com that may have the full thing if you need it without caps. I got my copy from Amazon.com. My caps are from that. A note that some caps are not as clear as other sites that concentrate only on caps because I follow the motion with the characters words. Also, I write the dialog the way they speak it, no pause in their speech no pause in the scripting short pause three dots, long pause six dots.

**I'd like to make another note...All cappers struggle with Logos. Those taken directly from TV have those irritating USA HD in the lower right along with any messages to the left. Amazon has a gray box with two silver rectangles in the upper Right. Since I use Amazon, I try to stop short of it or go below when possible to delete it. But there are times that it's right in the middle of Bobby's head so you may see it at times...sorry.

There will be shots of Bobby's back, because that's my weakness and perhaps obsession. For friend's obsessions there are hand shots, tongue, eyelashes, and feet.

VINCENT MISSED BLOGS AND ME

Well, I've worked and worked getting ready for my Italy trip so I've been behind on my blog watching (have not been lurking). Made some time to doodle a few drabbles (don't consider them fan fic since they're so short and no case file, for LIVE JOURNAL. If you are interested there's a link over there on the left.

In other news, when Vincent came to the Film Festival here, it was held at the Green Hills Theater (The ritzy/artsy part of Nashville, new money rich but not to be confused with Belle Meade--the OLD MONEY SECTION of Nashville) just a mile from Vanderbilt Medical Center, where I was working...oh, the agony...every single night.

So, I hit all the media sources. TV...WKRN NBC's network had footage which is all over the web. Every other station were too caught up in the excitement that was William Shatner. PLEEZZZ give me a frigging break. Him all over the news and entertainment sections.

Hit up my pal at the Nashville Tennessean Newspaper and found just one head shot of Vincent. You'll find it at the bottom. Even the Green Hills theatrical paper only mentioned him in print and from what I hear Shatner just sailed in like some arrogant king while Vincent worked the Red Carpet and crowd.


As for the new season, yes I've downloaded the first two episodes but haven't started working on the caps and scripts (Italy pending). But there is too much of guest stars and not enough Vincent or Kate to suit me.

Missed you all. Two days off then four more twelve hour night shifts then Italy. At least my sister has a satellite system computer so I can check out your blogs from there and maybe send you a snapshot or two.
