Vincent D'onofrio--Mr. Blue

Am I over-reacting when it pisses me off when I see commercials of The Taking of Pelham 123 with Denzil Washington. I know its just another remake, but why mess around with perfection? Okay so the story was weak but Vincent carried this movie..it is not one that needed to be remade as far as I am concerned. Is Hollywood running out of ideas for movies--all we are getting is remakes and sequels.

Mr. BLUE:

With thanks to Ms. Larson

I don't see the need for another re-make either, but what really really annoys me is how often this one is forgotten about when the press talk about the new one. They mention the original version, then skip straight to the one with Mr Washington.

I don't know if any of that made sense, but I should think you got the general idea :-)

I got even MORE annoyed when Vincent's version was referred to as 'weak' on one Google alert I got. I said something VERY rude and deleted it. Some of us don't want or need 'another' Mr Blue thankyouverymuch!

The original was dull. The first remake was electrifying thanks to Mr D's performance. I have no interest in the second remake.

From the ads I've seen, Mr Travolta looks like the "Michelin Man" compared to Mr. D's panther.
