VDO in THE PLAYER

(Spoilers for anyone lucky enough not to have seen it, and mistakenly think they want to.)

Somehow I missed this movie during Mr D'onofrio's career. I must admit all it did was piss me off immensely. First, I HATE that he loves to take roles where he dies, then the fact Tim Robbins character gets away with it AND gets the guy's wife infuriates me. I missed getting it in my extensive collection, thank goodness. And am regretting I caught it on the Sundance Channel. I only watched the movie through to the end to see Tim Robbin's character get his com-uppence not to see him kiss his pregnant wife whose husband he murdered!. ARGHHHHHHHHHHH. However; Vincent is young and very gorgeously poetic looking, as always.

Thanks to THE VELOCITY OF VINCENT FOR THE CAPS AND P-A-A.

Hi Basric!

The only good thing about this movie was Vincent :) I swear I don't understand why this movie is hailed as a 'classic'?!

Well, Vincent dies, and that's a pretty classic outcome for one of his movies!

I waited patiently for Tim Robbins to get his just desserts too, getting madder and madder as things went on...

I also capped the pictures of Vincent...er....'sleeping'in the puddle, but couldn't bear to post them!

... gosh I must be a lone voice... the film is brilliant; obviously made even more brilliant with the presence of our man, but a classic all the same
